Hello, My name is "Wanida"... But My Akha Name is "Bu Chu".

I am one of the Sous Chefs here at Akha Kitchen.

I have lived in Thailand my whole 21 years of life, and though I am Thai I am also Akha. I grew up in a small mountain village about 2 hours south of Chiang Rai.

I love to meet new people, and am very excited to share my culture with people from all over the world. Our desire at Akha Kitchen is to share our Food & Culture with those that want to learn about the Thai and Akha Hill-Tribe people.

                                                                     

It is a "labor of love" as foreign people say.

 

I love to meet people, so that I can expand my world, and they can theirs also... I want them to take a part of my home, a part of my life, and to remember the amazing time they had while they visited Chiang Rai, Thailand and its people that call it home.
