This is Northern Thai Sausage

This sausage is a specialty of Northern Thailand. It is a grilled pork sausage of minced pork meat, herbs, spices, and red curry paste. It is usually eaten grilled, then sliced and eaten with sticky rice and other dishes.

Traditionally "sai ua" or Northern Thai Sausage was a homemade sausage, but today it is readily available in shops and here in our local market. It's one of the many 'tasty' tastings you can try when we shop together in the market before we head to Akha Kitchen.
